Finding the best in everyone
There are a lot of young men who have lived through the dire circumstances of poverty, violence, crime and a lack of mentorship and positive reinforcement are at risk of falling through the cracks of drug addiction and hopelessness . This path can often lead to gangs, prison or even early death, and these young men are often neglected and written off.
It doesn't have to be this way.
With help, these same men could become effective and highly valued and respected members of the community.
At A Way Out, we help these young men escape the addiction and despair that have guided their lives to this point.
Our counselors work with our members in group settings, helping each of them learn from the stories of their peers and use the power of the community to help them all pull out of their downward spirals.
