How It Works and When It Meets.

A Way Out is a voluntary program where each individual is given the training, advice and encouragement to manage their addiction and deal with the other problems confronting their lives.

Our primary initiatives include education classes, workshops, counseling, referrals, and connections. These include:
• Young Male Mentoring
• Young People’s Sobriety Group
• Gang Prevention
• School Based Prevention +Education

These gatherings occur primarily in group settings where each participant has the power to draw upon their own strength and wisdom to help each other face their difficulties, all under the guidance of trusted mentors.

What We Expect from Participants.

When a participant walks first through our door, they will enter a caring community where they will be respected and will be expected to respect those around them and the rules and protocols. A Way Out is an empowering and sacred space where everyone will help cure, teach and learn from each other. They will be guided by wise and compassionate advisors, and each man's progress will be dependent on the seriousness and effort that he brings to the table.
